Stethoscopes from Eko may be eligible for HSA, FSA, or CME (continuing medical education) purchase and/or reimbursement.

DUO EARPIECE is a 28-inch long stethoscope earpiece custom-designed to work with the Eko DUO Digital Stethoscope + ECG. The threaded 3.5mm audio jack screws into the base of the DUO, ensuring a secure fit and allowing you to wear the DUO around your neck like a traditional stethoscope.

Compatible with:

  • Eko DUO ECG + Digital Stethoscope, 2nd generation, SKUs: DUO200, DUO201
  • Eko DUO ECG + Digital Stethoscope, 1st generation, SKUs: DUO100, DUO101

Reminder that the DUO and other parts or accessories are sold separately. DUO EARPIECE is not compatible with the CORE 500™ or any other stethoscope.

For such a cutting edge device the ear piece is very cheaply made-breaks easily. The connector and the actual head piece should be made of metal.

Stethoscope is great, battery longevity and sound are fantastic. The tubing however is utter garbage. My first set fell apart after 3 days of use when the end piece broke off, making it useless unless I wanted to register reach and every patient I saw in the ED, which I would never do. Eko kindly sent me a replacement which broke off at the same spot, but this time I saw some additional plastic reinforcement was in place. That meant I could just pop my end piece on, which I did for a year and a half before that too disintegrated. Great product, but flawed design in terms of weight

Purchased my fifth earpiece after the one from last year broke where the tubing meets the metal connector. New earpiece arrived and did not work at all. No sound. I really love this stethoscope so not having it for over two weeks was difficult. I would like to see a different mechanism for the earpiece to attach to the duo. Also would like to be able to talk to a real person for help instead of trying to explain by chat or email.

My EKO is by far the best stethoscope I've used! No matter what the situation, and regardless of the level of background noise, I can hear a pin drop! There is only one issue I have with the EKO, the earpiece breaks very easily at the connection site where it screws in at the beginning of the rubber tube portion. A design flaw for sure. I hope they work on the design and durability of the earpiece so we can all continue to utilize it's excellent capabilities!

I haven't used this item personally but I ordered this replacement for the nursing / physician staff at the hospital I work for, the need for the replacement- being put in large white lab coat pockets repeatedly caused the tip for brake off.
